By 10:30 am this morning, I was putting my third batch of strawberry bread in the oven. Months ago, before I was temporarily retired, I’d talked and dreamed of this day. I wanted a day when I could bake, and then, go visiting with Steve to deliver. I’ve been home now for over two months. Today was finally my day, and I had a wonderful time visiting and dropping off goodies.
I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to “make good” on my good intentions! So often, we think of some good that we could do or should do for someone else, but we let the opportunity pass us by. We are all very busy this time of year, but we should never become “weary in well-doing” (Galatians 6:9). Thoughtfulness never goes out of style. God Bless, Courtney
