I am always amazed at how God answers prayers. Aren’t you? Even when we think that our prayers are unanswered – He answered. God, our heavenly Father answers us much like we answer requests from our children. We try to say, “yes.” Sometimes, we have to say, “no.” And, sometimes, it’s a “we’ll see – maybe later.” I am a big believe in “when the time is right, it will happen.”
As most of you know, I lost my job when our local hospital closed back in October. At that time, I thought it was one of the worst things that could happen, but. . . if I hadn’t lost my job – I never would have started this blog! And what a blessing that has been in my life! I’ve also been able to do some “deep cleaning” in my house – drawers, cabinets, closets. . . . I was able to decorate our home and host many events for our church family during the holidays, and I was able to go on that cruise vacation with Steve that had been booked since November, 2017. We got off the boat on Sunday, January 27, and on Monday morning, January 28 – I was offered a job! So, come this Thursday, I will once again be working outside the home as well as inside! Isn’t the Lord’s timing awesome? The right job came up at the right time. Prayers heard. Prayers answered.
God takes care of His children. May we never doubt Him. “Thank you, Lord for answering prayers. In Jesus name, Amen.” God Bless, Courtney
