I am so humbled by all of the Facebook messages concerning Steve’s hospitalization this week. So many offered prayers on our behalf. Thank you! I know that some people don’t want others to know when they’re sick or when things aren’t going well. I’m just the opposite! If there is something going on with me or mine, I’ll take all the prayers I can get! In fact, I have been known to say that I hope God gets tired of hearing my name! James 5:16 says, “. . .The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” I believe that God hears our prayers and answers.
We are now home from our two day hospital stay. The final diagnosis was pancreatitis – How or why his pancreas became inflamed? They’re not sure. The treatment – pain medication and IV fluids with absolutely nothing to eat or drink by mouth. It took a couple of days, but he’s much better. God is good. He’ll have to take it easy for a few days, and cut out fried foods, but it’s all doable. We’re exhausted, but we’re so thankful to be home! Thank you for your prayers. They were answered!
