This is one of those potluck recipes that you better double, if you want to have leftovers, and leave half of it at home! It’s always eaten up!
4 chicken breasts, boiled, shredded 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of celery soup (can substitute cream of mushroom) 1 8oz carton sour cream 1 small pkg, slivered almonds 1 tube Ritz crackers, crushed 1 Tab. poppy seeds 1/4 c. margarine, melted
Mix soups, sour cream and almonds well. Add shredded chicken. Pour into a “sprayed” 13 x 9 casserole dish. Mix crackers and poppy seeds into melted margarine and sprinkle on top of chicken mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. (You can omit almonds or poppy seeds, but not both!)
