Comfort. . .

Last week for my Weekly Scripture Writing Schedule, I wrote the verses on Comfort, and may I say – I was comforted! The memory verse for the week was Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Thinking about Jesus taking those heavy burdens off my shoulders and giving me rest – how awesome is that?

Another day, I wrote one of my favorite verses – Philippians 4:6-7 where we are told to be care for nothing, letting our requests be made known unto God. And “the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Peace that only comes from God! It reminds me of the beloved 23rd Psalm where David “fears no evil, for Thou (God) art with me.” Another day writing was when Matthew ended his gospel account with Jesus’ promise of “lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”

No matter what happens we can “cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.” God Bless, Courtney
