It’s a funny thing about our anatomy. God gave us two ears, but only one mouth. Do you think it could mean that we should listen TWICE as much as we talk? It’s a thought. Listening is almost a lost art in today’s society. We’d much rather talk. In fact, most of the time when the other person is talking, we’re thinking about what we’re going to say next, instead of really concentrating on what is being said. Think of all the things that we’ve missed by not LISTENING.
There’s another thing about our ears and mouth. Our ears remain open at all times. Yet, He made our mouths to be able to shut! The secret is – knowing when to keep it shut! May you spend the day listening. God Bless, Courtney
