Yesterday I asked, “Are you having a bad day?”, and encouraged you to look for the good in it. This morning one of my Facebook friends shared this thought that goes so perfectly with yesterday’s blog. It said, “Don’t ruin a good today , thinking about a bad yesterday!” Isn’t that the truth!
So yesterday was “one of those days.” That doesn’t mean that today has to be one, too. In Philippians 3:13-14, Paul (who had a lot of bad yesterdays) said, ” . . .but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Folks, it’s time to enjoy the “present!” That’s what it is, you know – the “present” is a “gift from God.” Don’t let the past ruin today!
