Less Than Five Months. . . Wow! Thank You!

At the end of November, 2018, I decided to branch out and do something that I’d always wanted to do. I decided to write a blog. It all started when I tried to find a scripture writing schedule online that had a memory verse to write. Everything that I could find went by months, not weeks. In school, whenever I studied for a test, I would go back and copy my notes. Writing things over again helped me remember them. So, I came up with the Weekly Scripture Writing Schedules that have a different theme each week. You have a memory verse that you write every day, and then one-two other verses that go along with the theme. I’ve had a couple of typos in the writing schedules – thank you to those who have brought them to my attention. I want them to be correct, so I really appreciate your help. When I start typing those – it seems like no matter how many times I check the verses, mistakes still happen. Sorry! I’d be honored to hear from those of you who are “hiding God’s Word in your hearts” each day by copying His Word. If you have any ideas for weekly topics – let me know!

I love writing! Who knew? I have found writing to be very therapeutic, and it seems that many of you can relate to my posts. People are pretty much just people – trying their best to do their best. I pray that I’ve given you something to think about each day. I have heard from folks on the other side of the world who are following my blog. It’s awesome! As of today, I have had over 2500 people check out my blog from ten+ countries, and I’m up to 7700 views! Isn’t that crazy? And, oh, how I love hearing from you! I’m grateful to those who have taken the time to let me know what you think of my posts. Sometimes – I’m not sure if what I’ve written is okay or not. Receiving feedback is so helpful.

I, also, appreciate the 199 of you who have signed up as a “follower” of my website. I’ve started sending weekly devotionals, “My Cup Runneth Over” to all followers. I hope you enjoy it! (If you’d like to become a follower, please, click on the gold button on the home page.) I’m currently working on a book for adults about the children in the Bible. In Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” If such is the kingdom of heaven, I believe that we, as adults can learn many lessons by studying the children in the Bible. I’ll keep you posted as the book progresses.

It’s been less than five months since all this started. Wow! I pray that it’s something that you look forward to reading each day. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. God Bless, Courtney
