Afraid?

Are you afraid of what “may” happen? Life is full of surprises and we don’t know “what” the future may hold. Do you worry? Fear includes anxiety or worry, dread, or panic. God doesn’t want His children to live in fear! We can’t let the fear of what could happen make nothing happen!

Hebrews 13:5b-6 says, “. . . for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” The Lord is there for us. We are not alone. “And if God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31) We can always go to our heavenly Father in prayer. The Hebrew writer gives us that assurance. “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)

Friends, we’re not promised a perfect life here on earth, but help is just a prayer away. When your life is not a bed of roses, remember Who wore the thorns. God Bless, Courtney
