It’s funny how the little things can make you so frustrated. Example: Have you ever tried to find your glasses WITHOUT your glasses? Now, this may seem humorous, until you’ve “been there and done that!” I’ve walked all over the house, looking for my glasses. And, sure enough – they were right where I left them – in the last place I looked!
Some people today think that they can “find God’s will” without ever looking through God’s Word. Following what man says, won’t help you find your way to the truth. In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Only by searching His word to seek the truth, will we be able to “find” His way. We will only find salvation and a home in heaven, by looking in the right place. “That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us.” (Acts 17:27) If we seek, we will find!
Yes, just like the glasses that were probably on top of your head the whole time you were searching for them – the Lord is always near. God Bless, Courtney
