One of my favorite hymns comes from Psalm 115:12, “The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.” Yes, the song is “The Lord Has Been Mindful of Me.” The verses talk about no matter whether I am going – through the valley of shadows, over the troubled sea, or traveling in the darkness – the Lord is mindful of me. More than my grief, my sorrow, or adversity – the Lord is mindful of me. I am rich, I am saved, and I am happy. I have friends and the Lord is opening doors for me – oh how the Lord has been mindful of me. He blesses and blesses again. Don’t you love that comforting thought?
No matter what is going on in my life, God knows. He sees my tears of sorrow and my tears of joy. He is longing to “hear about my day.” He cares. He is there to encourage me and sustain me. “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1) He never stops showering me with blessings. ” I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing; And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing.” (Ezekiel 34:26) May we never take His blessings for granted. Thank you, Lord, for being mindful of me. I am not alone. Of whom shall I be afraid? In Jesus Name, Amen. God Bless, Courtney
Thank you–we are so blessed.
Amen!
