Hello, Moon, You Shine So Bright! God Made You to Light the Night!

Okay, so I must be on a roll, but after the last two posts have been on the clouds and the sun, I can’t help but finish off the series with a blog about the moon! Don’t you love a big gold harvest moon! What characteristics of the moon do you possess?

First of all, the moon is always something you can look up to! You can’t see it during the day when it’s “low.” No, you always look up to see the moon. Are you someone that others respect and look up to?  If not – why not?

The second lesson is that you shouldn’t be phased by difficulties. As long as we’re on this earth, hard times will come, and “weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” (Psalm 30:5). Hang in there! The sun will rise again, Lord willing.

Last, did you know that the moon reflects the light from the sun? We should also reflect the light from God’s Son. The larger the moon, the more light that’s reflected. Are you putting out a “quarter moon’s light” or a “full moon’s light?” Can others see the “Son” reflecting off of you? Are you living life to the “fullest?”

So, enjoy a little “space” and light up the night! God Bless! Courtney
