This past week I’ve been using the “It’s Possible” scripture writing schedule. It has inspired me and humbled me. What an awesome God we serve! The Daily Memory verse was Romans 8:31, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Think about that – God is on our team which makes us the winning team in all circumstances. We can never be beat, if we stay on God’s team.
Different verses for the week included Genesis 18:13-14, when after Sarah laughed at the news that she would bear a child in her advanced years, the angel replied, “Is there any thing too hard for God?” In Luke 18:27, Jesus said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Jeremiah, the prophet came to the conclusion, “Ah, Lord God! behold, Thou hast made the heaven and the earth by Thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for Thee.” (Jeremiah 32:17) Job said, “I know that Thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from Thee.” (Job 42:2)
Jesus told His disciples, “. . .verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Remove hence to yonder place,’ and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.” (Matthew 17:20) Yes, with God all things are possible. By faith, we can say as Paul said “I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13) The verses this week have reminded me that I should never think, “Well, I can’t do that.” Because with God, “It’s Possible!” God Bless, Courtney
