Wasn’t this a lovely day? It was 51 degrees when I got in the car this morning! After the heat of the past few weeks, today was a hint of cooler weather in the forecast. Fall is my favorite time of the year. Yes, I do love all things pumpkin spice! I also love fall smells, fall colors, fall decorations, and the fact that when I put up the pumpkins – Santas come out next! Three months from today is Christmas Eve – isn’t that crazy?
I think that the older that I get, time really does seem to fly by. When I was a kid, it seemed to go so slow. Then again, when you’re five – one year is 20% of your life. When you’re fifty. . . .ahem, well, let’s just say that it’s MUCH less! When we’re young, we want to be older. When we get older, we spend a fortune trying to look younger! Happy is the one who can find peace and contentment at whatever stage you are in life. God is good! You’re alive! “Let us not grow weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9) God Bless, Courtney
Time does seem to fly faster as we get older. I can remember as a kid, it seemed that from one birthday or Christmas to another took an eternity! Now I’m like, “Where did time go? This year went by fast!” That should be a constant reminder that we need to always be ready to stand before the Lord in judgment because we never know when our last breath will be taken.
