I’m sure that you’ve heard the saying about what you should do if life gives you lemons? Make lemonade, right? There’s also that saying about when a door shuts, open a window. But – how about opening the door again? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Isn’t that what doors are for – to open and shut? Sometimes, we might think that perhaps someone else will open the door for us. We knock and knock and knock, but no one answers. What do you do? Are you guilty of giving up when the “going gets tough” or do you try jiggling the doorknob? Perhaps the door is just stuck.
So often we think that we only have one chance to make a change. It’s now or never. We messed up – it’s too late. The door is forever shut. But, is it? Who set that deadline? Did God? or was it self-imposed? Are we guilty of limiting the power of God? Is anything too hard for God? “For with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
Tomorrow, if that door closes on you – open it back up! The possibilities are endless! God Bless, Courtney
