When There Are No Words

Words, words, words! We all like to talk, but have you ever found yourself speechless? There may be times when “the cat has got your tongue” or when you’re just not in the mood to talk, and then, there are times when you find that there are no sufficient words to express the deep emotions that you are feeling. As my family deals with the loss of my brother-in-law, Randy, this week, I find that words seem so inadequate when trying to comfort. These are the moments when a touch on the arm, a squeeze of a hand, or just a hug or an “I love you” is all you have to give. You don’t know what else to say, and you know what? That’s okay! May that be enough. God Bless, Courtney
