Day of Prayer

Today President Trump asked the American people to join together in prayer, pleading for help to combat the impact of the Covid19 virus. It is fitting for us as a nation to humble ourselves before God’s throne, asking for wisdom. Prayer reminds us that we can do nothing alone. God must be at the center of our lives. For without Him, we are nothing.

Prayer is power! “The fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16). Do you believe that? Are you taking advantage of this powerful weapon that we have to fight against evil? We are to “pray without ceasing.” (I Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer should be the key that unlocks the day and closes the night.

Oh, that every day was called to be a “National Day of Prayer!” In Jesus name, Amen. Simply Blessed, Courtney
