After the Sun Goes Down. . .

Sometimes it seems like all hope is lost. Things don’t turn out quite like we planned. Just when we think that we’re on top of things, the rug gets pulled out from under us. It is on those days that we mustn’t lose hope. For it’s only when the sun goes down, that the stars come out.

We know not what the future holds for any of us, but we do know Who holds the future. We can only see what’s right in front of us – it’s like we have “blinders” on. But God can see in all directions and He knows how “all things will work together for good for them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28). Did you catch that? It’s “His purpose.” Are you living your life to bring glory and honor to Him?

The sun may get most of the “glory” because it gives warms the earth and makes things grow, but how I love looking up and counting the stars. There is a reason why we “wish upon a star!” We are simply blessed, Courtney
