Have you felt like you’ve been put through “a wringer” lately? I don’t know about you, but this has been a rough week for me. It seems like if one thing went wrong, ten more things decided to “join” it! I felt like all I was doing was “putting out fires.” Then, my “daily calendar” read, “The refiner is never far from the mouth of the furnace than when his gold is in the fire.” I’ve felt so “close” to the fire this week that my clothes smell like smoke! But, how comforting is it to realize that this is when God is watching over me the most! I feel comforted! I know that I am not alone! I feel loved! Thank you, Lord for caring so much about me.
